JForm::getValue

Description

Method to get the value of a field.

public function getValue (
        $name
        $group=null
        $default=null
)

Parameter	Type	Default	Description
$name	string		The name of the field for which to get the value.
$group	string	null	The optional dot-separated form group path on which to get the value.
$default	mixed	null	The optional default value of the field value is empty.
