JForm::getField

Description

Method to get a form field represented as a object.

public function getField (
        $name
        $group=null
        $value=null
)

Parameter	Type	Default	Description
$name	string		The name of the form field.
$group	string	null	The optional dot-separated form group path on which to find the field.
$value	mixed	null	The optional value to use as the default for the field.
