There are five options available: install, update, manage, discover and warnings

Install

The install tab handles installation of new extensions via a web URL, a directory on the server or via file upload.

Update

The update tab provides the ability to search for updates for installed extensions.

Manage

Manage enables you to uninstall existing extensions or unpublish them. Unpublishing effects components and plugins only.

Discover

Discover enables you to find extensions that may not exist in the database but exist in the file system. From here, a discovered extension can be installed which will run all database related functions (including running SQL scripts) but any file copy operations will not be run.

Warnings

Installation specific warnings are located on the 'warnings' tab which allows users to examine and rectify issues. This is useful if you are experiencing issues installing extensions into your site.
