For consistency-emphasis-easy2read, I suggest <code> tag to indicate a command line such as "git" → git and <code> + <nowiki> if it has a link such as "git clone https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms.git" → git clone https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms.git

Agree!
This is also a way to escape translation tags (don't do it, I will take in charge translation tags) and avoid few "strange" translation we can discover ;)
