Just so that this edit isn&#039;t as incompetent as the rest of joomla&#039;s code and documentation, I&#039;ll contribute this.&lt;br /&gt;
A module is typically an entity that appears within a page -and can appear on many pages.  This is different than a &#039;Component&#039; which loads as its own page.&lt;br /&gt;
