About the Joomla Translation Program

How can you help?

<translate> For that to become possible we need help from talented native speakers who wish to contribute by translating Joomla! language packages or other publications into their native language.</translate>

<translate> Joomla translations are mostly maintained on Crowdin. Create an account or Log in with Google, Facebook, GitHub, Twitter or Gitlab and start translating your language.</translate>

<translate> On the Joomla Project Crowdin you will find the following projects:</translate>

<translate>

  • Joomla! CMS (the core translation)
  • Joomla! Official Website Template (template of the official Websites)
  • Joomla! Official Websites (content of official Websites)
  • Joomla Marketing Resources (like video subtitles and social media images)
  • Joomla! Official Extensions (like the PatchTester, Weblinks, and the JED Checker).

</translate>

<translate> For documentation how Crowdin works, have a look at: Crowdin.</translate>

<translate> You don’t need to join a team to help translate Joomla! Into your language - just visit the CrowdIn profile and get started translating into your local language.</translate>

<translate> If your language currently isn’t listed, just let us know and we’ll get it setup so you can start translating.</translate>

<translate> If you would like to join one of the teams as a proofreader, contact the Joomla Translation Program via the Volunteers Portal. </translate>
