Pages that discuss hacks to the core. "Hacks" in this context do not mean attempts to break into a system, but adjustments to the system's core files, which should actually be hidden from and left alone by the user/developer.
Be advised that any hack you make to core files will be overwritten at the next update. See Understanding Output Overrides for information on a mechanism to adjust Joomla's output.
