Joomla 11.1 JDatabaseSQLSrv::dateToString

Description

Method to get a object represented as a datetime string in a format recognized by the database server.

Template:Description:JDatabaseSQLSrv::dateToString [Edit Descripton]

public function dateToString (
        $date
        $local=false
)
Parameter Type Default Description
$date The object with which to return the datetime string.
$local bool false True to return the date string in the local time zone, false to return it in GMT.
  • Returns string The datetime string in the format recognized for the database system.
  • Defined on line 167 of libraries/joomla/database/database/sqlsrv.php
  • Since Joomla 11.1
