What's a Barnstar?

Have you seen a 'Joomla! Docs Wiki community member' doing extraordinary work, going above and beyond? Perhaps they created a great article or are making contributions on the wiki tirelessly?

Placing a Barnstar on their talk page is a way of saying thank you and let them know how much their work on the 'Joomla! Docs Wiki' is appreciated.

History

The barnstar is not unique to the Joomla! Documentation Wiki. Some years ago, some wiki-based communities began to give their users awards called barn stars, using a star anchor to represent the concept of the shared work experience, as in barn raising. You can read more about the concept in Wikipedia.

How to give a Barnstar

Use the following code on the Joomla! Docs Wiki User's talk page and make sure you sign it with ~~~~.

For example:
